Hello last week in art we were doing a type of art called L’Alphabet Plastique (which means Plastic Alphabet) And for the lesson we made art with blocks and different types of shapes! First we made our design on our Chromebook and then sketched it on some paper. Then we got to pick out some water colour paints and start mixing water with them and then start painting! I loved how my painting was coming together it looked so awesome and was so much fun! This activity was so much fun and easy you guys should also try it! All you need is:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Rubber
- Paint
To start first you want to make a word using L’Alphabet Plastique shapes to make a word in your painting! Then you can start to design it on your Chromebook like a painting. Next sketch it out nicely on your paper lightly. The your gonna want to rub it all off so that when you put pain it wont show through. Next grab your pain and have fun!
Also the person who started this was Auguste Herbin and he started it because he had gone paralysed in his right side of his body full so he had to paint with his left arm so he started to paint shapes the had meaning and words behind them.
